Main Course Entrees..
Tajine (tah-gheen)
A Tajine is a clay pot known as a "Moroccan slow cooker." Your choice of lamb, chicken, fish, beef, or a vegetarian meal is cooked in garlic, spices, olive oil, and vegetables. Served mild or spicy.
Cous-Cous
Cous-Cous is the Moroccan national dish -- cracked heart of durham wheat.
Six Course
The six course Moroccan Feast includes...
- Choice of Soup: Harira, lamb lentil soup, or sharba, vegetarian soup.
- Khobz: Homemade honey wheat bread.
- Shlada: Mixture platter of Moroccan salad.
- Bastella: Phyllo dough pastry stuffed with chicken, spiced eggs and almonds, or almonds, raisins and pears (one per table).
- Entree: One choice of any main entree (see tabs).
- Dessert: After dinner hot mint tea and Baklava.
The six course feast prices are $27.00 per person for vegetarian feast and $32.00 per person for any meat or seafood feast. |

- Chicken Tajine with Onions and Potatoes: in garlic, ginger, saffron and honey.
